Terms of Use

1. Agreement and service

By downloading or using Wake AI, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app. Wake AI lets you schedule alarms and create spoken alarm audio from messages you provide. Generated speech can vary in pronunciation, quality, and availability.

The app does not require a conventional account. Some preferences, alarms, and generated audio are stored on your device. Certain features use an app identifier and online services to process requests and check access.

2. Subscriptions and purchases

Creating new custom spoken messages and using some voice features may require an active subscription. Any access you already have through an earlier offer or entitlement may be handled separately. The features available to you are shown in the app.

The price, billing period, and any introductory offer are shown before you confirm a purchase in the app and Apple's purchase flow. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled under the terms shown at purchase. Apple manages payment, cancellation, and refund requests. You can manage or cancel a subscription in your Apple account settings; deleting the app does not cancel it.

3. Your messages and voice samples

You keep your rights in messages and recordings you provide. You give us permission to process them as needed to provide the features you request, including generating spoken audio and, when you choose to create a custom voice, processing a voice sample. Only submit recordings you have the right to use and obtain any necessary consent from people whose voices they contain.

Do not use the app to create illegal, infringing, deceptive, abusive, or harmful content. Generated voices and audio may not accurately reproduce a person's voice or intended meaning.

4. Acceptable use

Do not interfere with the app or its services, bypass access or payment controls, misuse another person's rights, or use automated means to abuse the service. We may restrict access to online features when reasonably needed to protect users, comply with law, or respond to a violation of these Terms.

5. Ownership

Wake AI and its content, design, and technology are protected by intellectual property law. We grant you a limited, nonexclusive right to use the app for personal purposes while you comply with these Terms. This does not transfer ownership of the app to you.

6. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used, shared, and retained when you use the app or this website. Please read it alongside these Terms.

7. Alarm reliability and availability

Alarm delivery depends on your device, operating system, settings, permissions, power, and other conditions. Check important alarms and keep a backup alarm when a missed alert could cause harm. Online features may be interrupted, changed, or unavailable. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

8. Disclaimers and liability

To the extent allowed by applicable law, the app is provided as available, without implied warranties. To that same extent, Wake AI is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the app, including missed alarms, lost data, or lost opportunities. Nothing here limits rights that cannot legally be waived.

9. Ending use and changes

You may stop using the app at any time, but you must cancel any subscription separately through Apple. We may update these Terms by posting a revised version with a new date. Material changes may also be communicated in the app where appropriate. Continued use after the updated Terms take effect means you accept them, subject to applicable law.
